There are several ways to delete Facebook messages. To delete individual messages from a desktop computer, first login to Facebook and select the “contacts” tab. Then, go to the “chat window” and look for the messages you would like to delete. Hover over the white space on the left side of the message and click the three dots that appear. Then, select “remove”.
How to delete multiple Facebook messages
Sometimes you may receive hundreds of messages, or receive hundreds of message requests. You might want to delete these messages so your inbox is empty, or to avoid any misunderstandings with friends or partners. There are a few ways to do this. First, log into your Facebook account on your computer. Make sure you have a Google Chrome browser and the appropriate chrome extensions. This workaround will not work on mobile devices. Alternatively, you can download the Delete All Messages tool to perform the process on a mobile device.

If you have multiple messages on your Facebook account, deleting them all is simple. To delete an entire conversation thread, simply hover your mouse cursor over the conversation thread and click the three-dot icon in the top right corner. A pop-up will appear with options to delete the entire conversation or only a specific message. Click the option that corresponds to your situation. You will need to select a chat to delete a particular message.
You can also use an app called Messenger to delete a large number of messages at once. The Facebook Messenger app is available for Android and iOS devices. On desktops, you can right-click to select the messages that you wish to delete. You can also download a Chrome browser extension called Facebook Fast Delete Messages. To use this extension, you must have access to your Facebook data. You can download it from the Chrome Web Store.
Another way to delete multiple Facebook messages is to download the “Delete All Facebook Messages” extension. This extension is not affiliated with Facebook, Inc. This extension is made by an independent company called “Delete All Facebook Messages.”
How to delete multiple Facebook messages on mobile before someone reads them
The first step to deleting a Facebook message from your phone is to make sure that the person who received it has turned off airplane mode. If they are not, you can tap the conversation and delete the message before the recipient reads it. If they haven’t, the message will mark as read. The recipient will see the notification if they have opened it, but it is still important to delete your messages before they are read by someone else.
If you’re concerned about prying eyes, deleting Facebook messages is the best solution. It also gives you the chance to clean up your cluttered inbox. If you’re worried that someone might read your messages, you can also archive conversations. To do this, click the gear icon on the top-right corner of your Facebook home screen and then click the archiving icon. This will move the conversation to a separate folder.
To delete the message thread, you can access the conversation by hovering over the message. Then, you’ll see three options – emojis, text, and’remove’. Click the’remove’ option to delete the entire conversation. This option is also available on the desktop version of Facebook. In a similar manner, deleting multiple Facebook messages on mobile is possible as well. However, you must first delete a conversation before the recipient reads it.
Deleted Facebook messages
Deleted Facebook messages are not immediately removed from the recipient’s account, which means the recipient can read them within a few minutes. Facebook doesn’t make this functionality its primary goal, but users can use extensions to delete conversations in bulk. Those extensions let you delete multiple Facebook messages in one go. And you can find many more like them online. Just remember that you need to choose the ones you want to delete.
You can also manually delete shared photos and content on Facebook by uninstalling the app. While it may seem easy, deleting shared content can be tricky – the messages may be left in the conversation’s plain text for a long time. And if the other person has access to the message in question, it may not be the best idea. There are other options, however, and we’ll talk about them in a moment.
